Womens Yoga - Strengthen & Restore
Most of us have been ignoring our bodies for years. Not out of laziness — out of necessity. Because there’s always something more urgent, someone who needs you more, something that can’t wait. Your body gets what’s left over, which is often nothing.
This class is for that.
It’s a restorative, hatha-style class where core strength and pelvic floor health sit at the centre of everything we do — not bolted on as an afterthought, but woven into the whole practice. Every session includes mindfulness and meditation, and ends with an extended savasana. Not a token two minutes but a real one. Your nervous system will know the difference.
Who is this class for?
It’s for women who had a baby and never quite found their way back to themselves — whether that was eight months ago or eight years ago. It’s for women whose bodies have taken the brunt of stress, overwork, and the relentless pace of just getting through the week. And it’s for women preparing for pregnancy who want to build a strong, connected foundation before they get there — which, for the record, is one of the most useful things you can do.
Do I need any experience?
No. And for the record, because I hear this so often: you cannot be bad at yoga. That’s not false modesty, it’s just how yoga works. You don’t need to be fit, flexible, or have any idea what you’re doing. You need to turn up. That’s the whole job.
Every woman in that room is starting from somewhere. Nobody is comparing. Nobody is performing. And if the meditation bit makes your brain feel like a browser with forty tabs open — that’s fine. That’s most of us. Come anyway.
